A lifelong love of acting.
A spotlight for every child.

✦ A note from the founder

Hello, I’m Sara.

Actress, comedian, copywriter, drama tutor — and a lifelong believer in a little imagination.

Drama felt different.

I created Once Upon A Drama from my own learning journey and lifelong love of acting. As a child, I sometimes found it hard to keep up in the way school expected.

Drama was different: it felt joyful, natural and, best of all, nobody minded if things got a little wonderfully dramatic.

A different way of learning.

I used to believe I was not clever at school. It was only as an adult that I realised this was never true — I simply learn and process information in my own way.

I may need a little more time to take things in, but I also have a wonderfully creative imagination. That creativity helps me think differently, solve problems, and see the world in a special way.

A little room to be themselves.

Over the past year, I have developed warm, bespoke online drama sessions that support each child as an individual. My sessions are tailored to how your child learns, imagines and grows in confidence — with plenty of encouragement, creativity and smiles along the way.

I believe every child is wonderfully different. When we recognise and celebrate their strengths, confidence can grow.
